Double Integrals in Polar Coordinates      

 

When the region over which we are integrating is a circle or some other region that is best described in polar coordinates, then we often will convert a given double integral into polar coordinates.  In this worksheet, we explore some of these applications along with several applications, including applications to joint normal distributions.  Before we begin, let's load some packages.  Also, let's suppress the display of assumptions on variables.
